Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words and mapping can be that picture! With our optional mapping component you can map your Assessment Areas, shade the tracts by demographic characteristics, overlay Branches, ATM’s, deposits and loan information as layers to show how well you are serving the needs of your different communities and neighborhoods.
Although Comply Mapping is an optional component, once installed it is fully integrated with all of your data. Using a simple Mapping Wizard, Comply can guide even “non-technical” users through the process of creating many different types of maps to help assess an institution’s lending patterns. All you do is select an Assessment Area and define the layers that you want to see! Advanced users can take advantage of Comply’s flexible Property Editor to do even more complex customizations in real time if needed.

Mapping Services
RATA offers customized Mapping Services to its Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) reporting customers. An institution typically uses these services to visually display and help analyze their lending activity.
Maps can readily show the geographies in which an institution is marketing its services and making loans, and those geographies where it has no such presence. Maps can show a commercial bank's retail branch network, as well as their competitors' facilities. A HMDA reporter can create a map to display the office locations of their broker network, and identify neighborhoods in communities where they have no coverage. Housing, income, racial composition and other demographic information can be displayed together with lending data to help an institution better understand the characteristics of the geographies in which they are marketing their services and making loans. CRA reporting institutions will find Mapping Services helpful in delineating their assessment areas.
RATA is skilled and experienced in providing HMDA/CRA Mapping Services, and is available to consult with your institution to design and deliver maps that focus on answering your specific business questions and meeting your particular business needs.
