As you all know, submission season is upon us! Your RATA support staff is here to help in any way we can, so feel free to call us with any questions or comments along the way. The first step toward a successful submission is to make sure you are running the submision version of Comply. To submit your 2009 data, you must be on Version 7.6 of RATA Comply. This version has been out for a while now, so you should already be on it. Also remember the submission deadline is March 1, 2010 for both HMDA and CRA data!
To help you make sure you are processing your data correctly and to make sure you haven't missed any steps, we have created a few different resources that you may refer to at your convenience.
The first resources are our 2009 processing guides, which can be found direclty under the Resources section of the Start Page in Comply. There is one for HMDA (RATA 2009 HMDA Year End Processing Guide) and a seperate one for CRA (RATA 2009 CRA Year End Processing Guide). Both guides will explain step-by-step what you should be doing, give you a checklist to follow and provide the email addresses of where to send your submissions. If you haven't viewed these yet, you should do so at your earliest convenience. The guides will pull up as .PDF files, so you can just read them or print them out!
Our newest resource to help you during submission time and really any time are our RATA Comply Training videos. The videos can be accessed directly from the RATA Associates website and they are 100% free to all customers. To access these videos simply go to our site at http://www.rataassociates.com/support_onlinetraining. Once there you will be asked for a password to access the videos. Simply call one of our support members and they will provide you with a password. If you don't feel like calling, you can also use our Live RATA Support option under Resources on the Start Page to contact a RATA Support person via Live Messenger. Once in the video section, you will have access to a plethora of training videos all broken down by specific functions. We are always adding new videos and the newest video is the HMDA Submission video. The CRA Submission video will be coming shortly.
