End-of-Year Geocode Updates for 2011 Submission are Available!
As part of our efforts to get you the most accurate geocodes possible before you submit your data, we perform a process called the End-of-Year Geocode Update. Since we have all of the addresses you have submitted throughout the year in our geocoding database, we are able to re-run all of the addresses through our geocoding process one final time, now that all of our address data updates have been done.

New Census Tract Boundaries for 2012 Data Collection and Reporting
For your 2011 HMDA and CRA submissions (due by March 1, 2012), you will still use the 2000 Census boundaries. The RATA Comply system and edits are configured to make sure this is handled for you. The FFIEC announced that the 2012 HMDA and CRA data collection will require the usage of the new 2010 census tracts. This will impact everything from geocoding, edit checks and the demographic data. Comply 7.93 Update - not needed for submission if you are on 7.92
This update is not critical if you are already running version 7.92, unless you are affected by the Origination % Scorecard in Fair Lending or if you use note-type user fields (as the data was displaying in an encrypted format rather than plain text). THIS UPDATE IS CUMULATIVE, SO IF YOU HAVEN'T UPDATED TO 7.91 OR 7.92 YET, YOU CAN UPDATE DIRECTLY TO 7.93.

Comply 7.92 Update is Available for Download
Our last update released in August, Comply 7.91, was meant to be our 2011 submission version. However, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) that now governs HMDA regulations issued submission and edit changes after that update was released. The changes were retroactive, so in order to fully comply with the updated requirements YOU MUST APPLY THIS 7.92 UPDATE BEFORE YOUR 2011 SUBMISSION.

2010 HMDA Agency Mean and 2010 CRA Performance Evaluation Data Now Available
The FFIEC released the 2010 CRA and HMDA peer data on August 18th and September 22nd respectively. We have downloaded the data and created the HMDA Agency Mean file as well as the CRA Performance Evaluation file for use in Comply. The agency mean data is used to compare your Submission Audit Summary report numbers to the mean of your reporting agency. The performance evaluation data is used when running the PE tables.

RATA releases 2010 HMDA and CRA Peer Data
RATA announces the availability of the 2010 HMDA and CRA peer data. If you are licensed to use the web-based Peer-2-Peer product simply go to www.hmdapeer.com, log in, and go!
